PSOhub AI Insights: Terms of Use

By connecting an AI assistant to PSOhub through AI Insights, you agree to these terms.

1. What AI Insights is

PSOhub AI Insights ("AI Insights") lets you link an external AI assistant of your choice (for example Claude, ChatGPT or another compatible tool; the "AI Assistant") to your PSOhub environment using the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the open standard that AI tools use to connect to applications. Once connected, the AI Assistant can retrieve PSOhub data on your behalf, such as projects, quotes, tasks, customers and contacts, and, where available, create or change data, based on the prompts you give it.

AI Insights gives your AI Assistant access to your PSOhub data and actions. The answers, summaries and insights themselves are generated by your AI Assistant, not by PSOhub.

These terms only apply to AI Assistants that you connect yourself. They do not apply to other AI features that PSOhub offers within the PSOhub platform.

2. Your account and permissions

  • You sign in with your own PSOhub account. AI Insights only gives access to the data and actions your account is already allowed to use in PSOhub. It never grants extra rights.
  • AI Insights lets your AI Assistant read PSOhub data and, as features become available, also create, change or delete data on your behalf ("AI actions"). Which AI actions are available may change over time, and some may be offered as paid options under your PSOhub agreement.
  • Only connect if you are authorised to do so by your organisation. If you connect on behalf of a company, you confirm you have the authority to do so.
  • Keep your PSOhub login secure and do not let others use your PSOhub account, or your AI Assistant account while AI Insights is connected. You are responsible for all activity that takes place through your connection, in line with the PSOhub Terms of Service.

3. Your AI Assistant is your choice and your responsibility

  • PSOhub does not provide, operate or control any AI Assistant or language model. You choose which one to connect.
  • When the AI Assistant retrieves data through AI Insights, that data is sent to and processed by the AI provider under its terms and privacy policy, not PSOhub's. PSOhub is not responsible for how that provider stores, uses, trains on or shares your data.
  • Before connecting, check the provider's settings (such as data retention, model training and hosting region) and make sure they fit your data and your legal and contractual obligations.
  • Your organisation remains responsible for deciding which PSOhub data may be shared with third-party AI services.

4. Personal data and confidentiality

PSOhub may contain personal or confidential information about your employees, customers and contacts. By choosing to send this data to an AI provider, you are responsible for having a valid legal basis, for informing the people concerned where required, and for complying with applicable law (including the GDPR) and your own customer agreements.

When you connect an AI Assistant, data is made available to it on your instruction as controller. The AI provider is engaged by you, not by PSOhub, and is not a sub-processor of PSOhub. PSOhub is not responsible for the processing of that data by the AI provider, including any transfer outside the EEA.

Between you and PSOhub, the processing of your data within PSOhub remains governed by the PSOhub Terms of Service and Data Processing Agreement.

5. AI output and AI actions can be wrong

AI Assistants can produce inaccurate, incomplete or outdated answers. Always verify results before relying on them, especially for invoicing, financial, HR or legal decisions. Insights and answers are produced by your AI Assistant, not by PSOhub, and PSOhub is not responsible for how an AI Assistant interprets, summarises or acts on PSOhub data.

AI actions are carried out with your PSOhub user account and are treated as your own actions. Your AI Assistant may misunderstand your request and create, change or delete the wrong data. Check what an AI action will do before you approve it, and check the result afterwards. PSOhub is not responsible for changes made through your AI Assistant via your connection.

AI Assistants also read the text stored in PSOhub, such as descriptions, notes and comments. Some of this text may come from colleagues or external parties and may contain instructions that an AI Assistant mistakenly follows. Review what your AI Assistant proposes to do, especially when it creates or changes data, and do not approve actions blindly.

6. Acceptable use and logging

You agree not to:

  • use AI Insights unlawfully or to bypass PSOhub permissions or security;
  • bulk-extract or scrape data, or place excessive load on PSOhub;
  • reverse engineer AI Insights or use it to build a competing product;
  • connect an AI Assistant you know or suspect to be unsafe or untrusted.

PSOhub may apply rate limits. PSOhub may also log AI Insights requests (for example time, user and type of data requested) for security, support and service improvement. Logs are kept for 30 days.

7. Availability and changes

AI Insights is provided "as is" and "as available". We may add, change, suspend or discontinue features and AI actions at any time and will give notice where reasonable.

8. Disconnecting and suspension

You can disconnect at any time via your AI Assistant's settings or by contacting PSOhub support. Disconnecting stops new access, but does not delete data that was already shared with the AI provider or undo changes that were already made. PSOhub may suspend or block a connection in case of security risks, misuse or breach of these terms.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PSOhub is not liable for damage resulting from your choice and use of an AI Assistant, the processing of data by an AI provider, AI-generated output, AI actions carried out through your connection, or access through accounts or connections you authorised. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as intent or gross negligence). In all other cases, the limitation of liability in the PSOhub Terms of Service applies.

10. Other agreements, changes and governing law

These terms supplement the PSOhub Terms of Service and Data Processing Agreement. If they conflict regarding AI Insights, these terms prevail. We may update these terms and will notify you of material changes. Continued use of AI Insights means you accept the updated terms.

Dutch law applies. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Amsterdam.
